The 2019 IDEAS Global Assembly and the Third International Conference on Evaluating Environment and Development have raised a lot of interest from members and partners, especially due to various factors:

• the opportune time to discuss evaluation of transformative change;
• the idea of bringing the South to the North, acknowledging that the work carried out by the South can be inspiring to the North, cross-fertilizing the field of evaluation with best practices and novel ideas for transformational change;
• the collaboration with GEF/IEO and Earth-Eval, which brings to the table one of most relevant cross-cutting subjects within the SDGs: our relationship to the environment; and last, but not least,
• the inauguration of the Evaluation for Transformational Change Award, which will be announced in Prague during the Conference. 

Thanks to the partnership and generosity of various institutions, we will be able to take to Prague the best works received, with priority to participants from the Global South, and an emphasis on the least developed countries. You can compete for a sponsorship sending in your abstract until 9 June to the IDEAS Secretary-General with a copy to the IDEAS Coordinator.
